What Equipment Do I Need?
As we all know, a solar panel absorbs light and converts it into energy. Next, that energy needs to go to an inverter, which is a machine that converts the energy produced by the solar panel into usable energy. Once that energy has been converted, it can be stored in a battery or a series of batteries. Monocrystalline solar panels are generally thought of as a premium solar product. That is to say, monocrystalline panels provide higher efficiencies and sleeker aesthetics.
To make solar cells for monocrystalline solar panels, silicon is formed into bars and cut into wafers. These types of panels are called “monocrystalline” to indicate that the silicon used is single-crystal silicon.
